Jodie has been working at Chiropractic Family Care in the Adelaide Hills, Mt. Barker as a Chiropractic Assistant for 5 years.
‘Before I started working as a chiropractic assistant I was a client of Dr. Clarke’s. I had been struggling severely with my health for many years due to a car accident that I was involved in more than 20 years ago.’ ‘I was recommended to see Dr. Stuart Clarke after having spent 16 years going to many different physiotherapists, chiropractors, medical general practitioners, specialists and more…’
‘I have to say I was very unsure and wasn’t convinced that he could help me but I am not a person to give up even when I feel beaten. So after trying so many other things that hadn’t worked, I decided after much soul searching to give Dr. Clarke a go. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has been a roller coaster of a ride, but one that has been worth taking.’
‘It was after 4 months of care that a position came up at the practice for a Chiropractic Assistant. Being a caring person who loves to learn and wanting to improve my own health and the health of others, I applied for the position. Thankfully they made me part of their team and I have never looked back.’
‘Over the years that I have been here I have learnt so much. I have grown not only in my role as a Chiropractic Assistant, but also as an individual. I am learning and growing in my understanding of what health and wellness really is and in doing so, my quality of life has improved 100% to what it was. One of the major things that I have learnt is to look outside the square and to never give up hope for a better tomorrow.’
‘We never stop learning. I love being able to help others by sharing the knowledge that I have gained through the things that I have experienced. Health & wholeness is not a simple concept and that is why many people have little or no understanding of it. My hope is to be able to make a difference in someone else’s life through my role here at Chiropractic Family Care Mt. Barker.’
Jodie enjoys living in the Adelaide Hills with her three lovely children.
