They are a great way to naturally boost your energy, packed with disease-fighting nutrients and a fast, yet easy way to give your body what it needs.

With the combination of certain ingredients, you can create yourself the perfect pick-me-up for those days when you need it most. These smoothie recipes will be sure to give you a boost of those happy hormones!

 

BERRY-RICH CRAVING SAVER

Don’t let those cravings win you over with chocolate and sweets, use these cravings as an excuse to make a beautiful berry smoothie like this one. The addition of cacao powder will give you an extra boost of happiness while also feeding your chocolate craving.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 3-5 strawberries, depending on size and freshness
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

 

Blend everything together until totally smooth and enjoy!
